  • What happens if my event is canceled or postponed?

    In case of cancellation, TicketShack supports refund processes managed by event organizers. If an event is postponed, attendees may have the option to retain tickets for the new date or request refunds, per the organizer’s discretion.

  • How do I receive payments from ticket sales?

    After your event concludes, TicketShack disburses funds directly to your nominated bank account within a few business days. You’ll receive detailed payout statements for transparency.

  • What are the fees for using TicketShack?

    TicketShack charges a service fee of 5.9% + £0.50 per ticket sold. This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and customer support.

  • Can I ask a question about an event?

    Certainly! You can ask questions about specific events directly on the event page on TicketShack. Use the comment or contact organizer feature to get in touch.

  • How do I complain about an event I attended?

    If you have feedback or complaints about an event, please contact the event organizer directly. They are responsible for addressing attendee concerns and feedback.

  • Is the event I’m attending canceled?

    For event status updates, including cancellations or changes, please check the event page on TicketShack. Organizers typically update attendees via email or through the event listing

  • Can I change the name on my ticket?

    Yes you can! Log in to your Ticketshack account, go to orders then click view order. Click the edit button next to your ticket number and you will be able to change Name or email assigned to the ticket.

  • How do I request a refund?

    To request a refund, please contact the event organizer directly. They will handle refund requests according to their event’s refund policy.

  • How do I find my tickets?

    After purchasing tickets, you will receive an email with a link to download your tickets. If you purchased your tickets whilst logged in, You can also log into your TicketShack account and access it in your account section: https://ticketshack.co/account/orders.

  • I’ve paid but haven’t received my confirmation or tickets — what do I do?

    First, check your spam or junk folder, as confirmation emails sometimes land there. If it still hasn’t arrived, log in to your account at ticketshack.co/account/orders, where your tickets are always available to view and download. If you’re still stuck, contact us via the chat on our site or at support@ticketshack.co and we’ll get it sorted.

  • What payment methods can I use?

    You can pay with all major debit and credit cards, and with Klarna, so you can spread the cost of your tickets over time. we also accept Apple Pay or Google Pay. Every payment is processed securely.

  • Can I change my name on a ticket ?

    Yes you can! Log in to your Ticketshack account, go to orders then click view order. Click the edit button next to your ticket number and you will be able to change Name or email assigned to the ticket.

  • My event was cancelled, how and when do I get my money back?

    When an organiser cancels an event, they handle the refunds for it, and your money is returned to the card or method you paid with. Timing depends on the organiser and your bank, but it typically takes a couple of business days to appear once processed. If you haven’t heard anything, contact the organiser, and if you can’t reach them, get in touch with us.

  • Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

    Refunds are set by each event organiser, not by TicketShack, so whether a change of mind refund is possible depends on that event’s refund policy. Check the policy on the event page and contact the organiser directly to request one.

  • How do I get into the event?

    Each ticket has its own unique QR code. When you arrive, the organiser’s team scans it at the door, so just have it ready on your phone or printed. You’ll find your ticket in your confirmation email or in your account at ticketshack.co/ account /orders.

  • Do I need to handle VAT or tax on my sales?

    You’re responsible for any tax or VAT due on your own ticket sales, as it depends on your circumstances. TicketShack can’t give tax advice, so if you’re unsure, we’d suggest speaking to an accountant.

  • Can I brand my event page?

    Yes. Your event gets its own branded page on TicketShack, so it represents your event rather than looking like a generic listing.

  • How do I edit my event after it’s published?

    Go to View Events in your dashboard, open the event and update the details you need to change.

  • Can I see my sales as they happen?

    Yes, you can track your ticket sales from your dashboard at any time.

  • Can I set my own refund policy?

    Yes. As the organiser, you set the refund policy for your event and handle refund requests from your attendees. We’d recommend making your policy clear on your event page, so buyers know where they stand before they purchase.

  • Can I create different ticket types, early-bird pricing and discount codes?

    Yes. You can add as many ticket types as you like, for example early bird, general and VIP, each with its own price, quantity and on-sale dates, which makes running early-bird releases easy. You can also create discount codes from the Marketing section of your dashboard.

  • How do I set up my payouts?

    In your dashboard, go to Finance, then Payouts, and add the bank account you’d like your takings paid into. It’s best to set this up before your event so there’s no delay in getting paid.

  • When do I get paid after my event?

    Once your event finishes, we pay your takings directly to your nominated bank account within a few business days normally 2-5 days. You’ll also receive a clear payout statement showing exactly what you’ve earned.

  • Is it free to list an event? Are there setup or monthly costs?

    Yes, it’s completely free to create and list an event. There are no setup fees and no monthly charges. We only take a flat 5.9% + £0.50 per ticket when you make a sale, and free events are free to run.

  • How do I create and publish my first event?

    Sign in and go to your Dashboard, then select Create an Event. Add your event name, image, description, category, date and location, then choose Save & Add Tickets. Set up your ticket types and prices, and when you’re ready, publish to go live, or choose Schedule for later to publish automatically at a set time. Most organisers have their first event live within minutes.
