How to Send an Email to All Your Users

2 min read

TicketShack’s email campaigns let you reach your whole audience in one send. Rather than a single “everyone” button, you choose your recipients using audience tags, and TicketShack combines them into one de-duplicated list. This guide shows you how to email all your users.

Step 1 — Open the email campaign builder #

1.  Log in to your organiser account.

2.  From the left-hand menu, under Marketing, select Emails.

3.  Click New Campaign.

Step 2 — Name your campaign #

Enter a Campaign Name — this is just for you, so you can recognise the campaign later. Click Next.

Step 3 — Select your whole audience #

This is the step that reaches everyone. Under Audience, you’ll see your available tags:

  • Followers
  • All Past Event Goers
  • All Imported Contacts
  • Any custom lists you’ve created

To email all your users, add every tag. TicketShack combines them and counts each person only once, so no one is emailed twice. As you add tags, an estimate of your total recipients appears. When you’ve selected them all, click Next.

Note  —  Recipients are the combined unique contacts across the tags you pick. Adding every tag is what makes this a true “email everyone” send.

Step 4 — Attach an event (optional) #

If your email uses event details such as a name, image, date or link, select the event under Event. If it’s a general newsletter that doesn’t reference a specific event, leave this blank and click Next.

Step 5 — Add your subject line #

Enter the Subject Line your audience will see in their inbox, then click Next.

Step 6 — Design your email #

Click Start designing to open the email editor and build your message. When you’re happy with it, your design is saved and you can update it any time with Update design.

Step 7 — Test, then send #

Before sending to everyone, click Send Test Email to preview it in your own inbox. When you’re ready, click Send to deliver it to your whole audience. You can also Save Draft to finish later. Sent campaigns appear in your Email Campaigns list with their status and send date.

Tip  —  Always send yourself a test first. Once a campaign goes to your full audience, it can’t be unsent.
