Getting an event live on TicketShack takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through creating your event, adding tickets, and publishing it, or saving it as a draft to publish later.
Step 1 — Log in and go to Create Event #
1. Log in to your organiser account.
2. From your Dashboard, go to the left-hand menu.
3. Under Events, select Create Event.
Step 2 — Fill in your event details #
Complete the fields in the event form. The required details are:
- Event Name
- Event Image — your flyer, as a JPG or PNG under 10MB
- Event Description
- Event Category — select up to three
- Event Location
- Start and End Date and Time
Tick Virtual Event if your event is online. You can also add optional details: an age restriction, a last-entry time and a dress code. If you’d prefer your event not to appear on the TicketShack homepage, tick Private Event.
Step 3 — Add your tickets #
Before your event can sell, it needs at least one ticket type. Click Save & Add Tickets, then set up each ticket with its name, price, quantity and sale dates. You can add several types, such as early bird, general and VIP, each priced and limited separately.
Tip — If your event is free, you can add a free ticket type so attendees can still register.
Step 4 — Publish your event #
Once your details and tickets are in place, click the Publish Now button at the top, just below the Event Details heading. Your event goes live and is ready to accept attendees.
Step 5 — Or save as a draft to publish later #
If you’re not ready to publish straight away, your event is saved as a draft. To publish it when you are:
1. Go to View Events under the Events menu.
2. Find your draft event.
3. Click the three-dot menu and select Publish Now.
Your event is now live and ready to accept attendees.
